Recruitment Agency in Yorkshire
Having worked in the Corporate world of Recruitment for over 20 years, the dream of building my own Recruitment Agency in Yorkshire finally became reality in March 2020.
Historically, working within Bradford, Leeds and York, covering West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire seemed the most logical choice of geography in my new venture.
Being a fellow “Yorkshire woman” still makes me smile today. The “mickey” taking still continues with family and friends from all parts of the country mimicking how we speak up north and the funny expressions that make up “us” hardened northerners. I can remember in my first 6 months of working in recruitment being told off for not pronouncing staff properly from my manager at the time. It’s not STAAFF Pauline it’s STARRRFFF with a southern accent .. it still makes me giggle today.
I’m proud to work in this fabulous part of the country. Clients have become friends and candidates have become clients and the cycle continues to go on.
New Beginnings...
When I registered the business back in March of this year, I could never have predicted or even understood what a pandemic meant and still continues to determine how we live, love and laugh .. in this very different world.
West and North Yorkshire continues to be a hotspot in the country with numbers of new cases increasing day by day.
New Future...
After initial conversations regarding websites, looking over and over corporate smiley faces just didn’t feel right. The number of deaths from Covid19 was increasing by the day, it just didn’t seem appropriate. We opted for a vintage style site, focussing on imagery, a modern contemporary vision, focussing on Neom and what this West and North Yorkshire Recruitment Agency stands for. A new future with new beginnings.
My passion is working in this ever-changing industry, bringing people together, building teams and placing individuals, inspired by the future of today.
