Monday-Friday either 8.30am – 4.30pm or 9.00am – 5.00pm

This professional, market leading security company with over 15 years’ experience within security staffing is looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk within their offices in Leeds.

This company is the No 1 provider of door supervision across the UK and is growing at a rapid rate.

As Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be part of the Finance Team and report directly to the Management Accountant.

A working knowledge and understand of payroll and finance software would be beneficial as well as part/fully completed AAT qualification or a desire to study further to attain this accreditation.

Role:

• Reconciling timesheets with reports
• Agreeing supplier invoices to internal documentation
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Processing purchase invoices and payments
• Supplier reconciliations
• Bank Reconciliation
• Ad hoc accounts support work as necessary
• Maintaining files, records and company databases
• Data input and processing
• Query resolution

• Have a good understanding of finance and accountancy principles
• Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team with a positive nature
• Not shy of suggesting improvements for the good of the business
• Professional and helpful manner with a “can-do” attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company
• Methodical and logical approach with a good attention to detail
• Aptitude for problem solving and query resolution
• Flexible approach to working hours at times to suit the demands of the business

Candidates Must Have:

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communicator with a variety of people at all levels
• Ability to work to a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
